Supporting mother and child through pregnancy, before and post birth
During pregnancy the body is constantly changing and moving beyond familiar patterns of movement. The center of gravity changes and organs are shifted and put under pressure.
There are ways to support these changes, reduce pain and tension and bring ease of movement.
I use gentle hands-on techniques to support changes that need to take place during pregnancy.
This includes working with areas that can become uncomfortable through the pregnancy, before birth and post birth e.g. lower back, hips, pelvis, diaphragm and shoulders.
The work also supports the nervous system to self-regulate and helps to create balance in the pelvic structures, to "help babies to align more optimally for birth" Jenny Blyth (Trainer - Spinning Babies)
